Sherwood Community Store Grand Re-Opening: A Brighter Space to Shop and Give

Our Sherwood Community Store is now bigger, brighter and better than ever!

We celebrated the Grand Re-opening of our Sherwood Community Store and Donation Centre on Thursday, November 6 after the much anticipated completion of our renovation and refresh!

Sherwood has long been one of Goodwill’s busiest sites, serving as a high-traffic hub for both donors and shoppers. With up to 60,000 vehicles visiting the Donation Centre each year, this location plays a vital role in supporting our mission of transforming donations into employment and training opportunities across the region.

Fresh Look, Better Experience

The newly renovated store has been thoughtfully redesigned to enhance the experience for both customers and donors.

New features include:

• A covered canopy at the donation centre for added convenience in every season
• Expanded retail space to showcase even more great finds and unique merchandise
• Two new docks for our Transportation Team to drop off donations from our Attended Donation Centres
• An open ceiling design with bright new lighting for a more welcoming shopping environment
• Newly constructed and reconfigured fitting room layout for improved convenience

This multi-phase renovation project began two years ago, in coordination with other upgrades across Sherwood Forest Mall, and reflects the ongoing growth in this vibrant area of London, including nearby Gainsborough and Old North communities.
