My Story: Judah
Judah struggled with his mental health prior to joining Goodwill. As a homeschooled student, Judah found it challenging to finish high school and lacked confidence with less experience with the ‘outside world.’
After working at Goodwill as a Donor Greeter, Material Handler, and Cashier, Judah developed new skills and self-confidence, which positively impacted his outlook and mental health.
Through Goodwill’s supportive environment and connecting with an Employee Coach, Judah gained work experience, a sense of accomplishment, and is looking forward to pursing a career path in graphic design.
“Because of Goodwill, I was able to complete high school. Goodwill has put me in a situation where I’m able to help people and that boosted my self-confidence… Goodwill gives people the opportunity.”
