Mary Ellen joined Goodwill in 2021 and has since held several leadership roles, including Director of Learning and Development and Vice President of Mission Advancement. Prior to joining Goodwill, she served as CEO of Atma Education in Mumbai, India—an accelerator supporting the organizational development of education-focused NGOs.

She holds a degree from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa and is an alumna of the Dasra Social Impact Leadership Programme and the Commonwealth Study Conference Leaders.

Mary Ellen currently serves on the board of advisors for Atma Education. She is also passionate about sustainable fashion and has worked with influencers to promote greater awareness and action in the sustainable fashion space.
