Throughout her career, she has held senior finance roles, including serving as CFO for award-winning advertising agencies Ogilvy Canada and john st., where she led transformative initiatives that improved operational performance and enabled scalable growth. She is known for mentoring high-performing teams, building leadership capabilities, and developing systems and processes that support strong organizational foundations. She has led cross-functional teams across finance, IT, and administration.
In 2022, Joanna founded a consulting practice to partner with CEOs in strengthening strategic finance and business operations. The practice provides fractional CFO services to organizations with strong day-to-day finance teams, offering executive-level oversight, mentorship, and strategic guidance to enhance decision-making and long-term performance.
Joanna holds a Business degree from McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
