Glen is the Past Chair of Goodwill Amity in Hamilton/Halton. He served on that Board for five years. He is semi-retired and currently lives with his wife Jacqueline in Huntsville, on the shore of a small lake. Prior to retirement, he was the Director of Economic Development for the City of Hamilton, and before that, he had a 22-year career in mid-market commercial banking at several Canadian institutions. Glen holds the CPA designation and has an MBA from the Ivey School of Business at Western University.

In addition to volunteering with Goodwill, Glen is the Past Chair of the Muskoka Community Foundation, a Board member of the Hamilton Music Hall Alliance, and the Board Chair of a small private company he co-founded 18 years ago at McMaster Innovation Park.
