Carmela Trombetta is the Vice President of Private Banking for Southwestern Ontario. She leads a team of private bankers who provide customized advice and holistic wealth management solutions for high-net-worth clients, their families and their businesses.

With over 30 years of banking experience, Carmela has held a number of unique blend of front-line and leadership roles across RBC within Personal and Commercial Banking and Financial Planning. Prior to joining Carmela held the position of Vice President, Commercial Banking for Greater Hamilton where she lead and worked with partners across RBC to drive accelerated growth and differentiated results through supporting the Greater Hamilton business community.

Carmela has been a community leader in the region and in 2022 was named by WXN as Top 100 Most Powerful Women in the category of Community Impact. She has served as a campaign cabinet member with United Way Halton & Hamilton, and on the Boards of organizations including the past Chair of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation, Mohawk College Foundation and Goodwill Industries as well as actively volunteering for various other local events.

In her spare time, Carmela enjoys spending time golfing, hiking, travelling and spending quality time at home with family and friends.
