Cafe Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the work of the Counter Attendants to ensure efficient and timely service, as well as ensure a positive customer service atmosphere is provided for guests. As a Cafe Supervisor, you will contribute to Goodwill’s mission by supporting the success of Edgar & Joes Café, helping create jobs and opportunities, and offer great food and customer service to the local community.

 What You Will Do:

  • Some administrative duties – filling out cash reports at end of day and completing bank deposits.
  • Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of the cafe.
  • Handling customer satisfaction concerns and complaints.
  • Follow Goodwill’s Policies and Health & Safety guidelines. 
  • Contribute to teamwork with added activities.
  • Adhering to and promoting use of the required uniform.
  • Safe Food Handling Certification.
  • Smart Serve Certification an asset for catering events.

 What We Are Looking For:

  • Enthusiasm: excited to work with other people and teams.
  •  Flexibility: able to work at various times, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Any experience is welcome—we will help coach you to gain these workplace skills: 
    • Communication: effectively speaking with and listening to team members and customers to create a positive workplace.
    • Problem-solving: finding solutions to problems, being accurate, and using simple math such as counting, adding and subtraction.
