If you are interested in any of these services, call Goodwill Career Centre to book into the next available Discover Your Options workshop.

After the initial Discover Your Options session, you would register for these workshops:

• Working Resumes (1-day workshop)
  Gain knowledge and skills on how to create a skill based targeted resume
  

• Interview Success (1-day workshop)
  Explore and discuss difficult interview situations and practice the basic structure of a job interview

• Experienced Worker +45 (1-day workshop)
  Recognize the unique abilities of experienced workers developing strategies for job searching

• Intro...Career Decision Making (1-day workshop)
  Understand a 3 step process in career decision making

After the intial Discover Your Options session, you would book an appointment to meet with an Employment Counsellor for a referral to these workshops and services:

• Employment Counselling (Individual Service)
  Assessment of Individual Employment Needs and Job Search Support
  Assistance with the application process for Employment Ontario programs such as Second Career

• Job Matching Services (Individual Service)
  Assistance with job search such as marketing skills & interests with work opportunities in the community and access to jobs before they are advertised which decreases competition

• Training Information Session (2-hour workshop)
  Overview of Employment Ontario Second Career Guidelines
  Job Search Expectation & Training Research Guide
  How to apply for financial assistance

• Tap Into Your Potential (4-day workshop)
  Discover and confirm your full potential through self-awareness and self-assessment
  Explore values, interests, preferences and personality as they relate to meaningful job satisfaction
  Link your self-awareness profile to realistic and fulfilling occupations

  Learn the factors that impact and shape the Labour Market
