Tour Guide - a leader with fun and flare
You are the personality that inspires people to join in the amazing work of Goodwill.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will lead fun and informative tours (click to read about tours) of our new, state of the art, regional headquarters.
  • You can choose to lead school aged children, teens, or adult groups.
  • Share your personality and creativity as you draw the public into the heart of Goodwill's mission.
  •  Near the end of the tour, you will give clear, age appropriate suggestions for how people can support the Goodwill mission (donate, shop, volunteer, tell your friends).

Support You Will Receive

  • Training and orientation to your role at Goodwill. Current, interesting, and interactive, no long, boring training manuals here!
  • Ongoing, personalized support from our Volunteer Coordinator. We will work with you to clarify your volunteer goals so that you can achieve that which is deeply important to you.
  • A customized assessment of the unique talents you bring to the role. We will support you to identify and use your signature strengths within your volunteer role.

Time Commitment

  • You can decide! We are deeply appreciative of your time, no matter how much or how little.
  • Tours will last 30 to90 minutes depending on the needs of the group. You can choose what types of groups you would like to lead.
  • You can lead as many or as few tours as you would like several per week or once a month.
